My inspiration for starting Vintage Vixen came from the "thrifting" trend that is really popular at the moment. I also have a huge amount of vintage clothing that I inherited from my grandmother, some of which are too small for me and are not really my style. A lot of them are designer pieces from overseas, and I didn't want to just give them to the sad looking second-hand shop around the corner. I'm selling some of my own second-hand clothes that I don't wear anymore, and I also go thrifting regularly to find new gems.
To me there is nothing wrong with wearing something that someone else used to covet. The way I see it, it gives the item another chance to flaunt itself!
I hope to attend some of the popular markets in the CBD soon, since I am now a resident here. In the meantime I will be posting items to customers or you can come pick your order up from my home.
